Following Manchester United’s FA Cup final defeat against Manchester City, I was tasked to write an opinion piece on the players United should KEEP or SELL in the summer transfer window. I included all 39 first-team players on the list, and though it took me around four hours to complete, I felt rewarded for the work I produced.

I wrote a paragraph each for every player, explaining my decision, which doing thorough research, backing up why I decided what I put. In the end, there were 15 players that either were sold or had their contracts/loan expired, which made a perfect number to stick in the headline.

I also made sure that Erik ten Hag, FA Cup and Man Utd were in the HL, as well as words that would entice the reader in. In the end, this piece performed superbly, despite it being a nine-minute read and including over 2000 words. With the season also being almost over and the transfer window opening, it was the perfect time to produce this type of content.
